Sequim Humanities and Arts Alliance is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization incorporated in 2008 registered in Washington State and approved by the IRS to serve as the local arts council.

    • Our Priority Areas of Service

    Sequim Humanities and Arts Alliance (SHAA) will achieve this vision through four priority areas of service in the Humanities and Arts: Facilitate, Promote, Create, and Support.

    Facilitate – Generate a cooperative environment for the networking and active advocacy of local arts and culture.

    Promote – Implement effective marketing communication systems to promote the arts through media, education and community outreach.

    Create – Produce opportunities for artist involvement in performances, events, education and public art.

    Support – Providing assistance to area artists and cultural groups to enable their growth and increase economic vitality.
